Cerâmica de Valadares article should not be deleted, because this company's factory, has provided the development of Valadares "downtown", being part of the history of Valadares and one important factor to understand the modern Valadares. We should not forget that this is Portugal's leading exporter of sanitary ware and ceramic fittings, and so one of the most important Portuguese companies. The new church of Santíssima Trindade in Fátima, for example is covered by Cerâmica de Valadares, like many hotels in Dubai. Cerâmica de Valadares' "serie Light" won an honourable mention in "TEKTÓNIKA 2008", a portuguese fair for inovation in construction materials. I do NOT belong to Cerâmica de Valadares admnistration and I am not employed by them. I'm just an independent writer, who cares about the history of Valadares town. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NovosibirsK (talkcontribs) 19:14, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

How about posting some secondary reliable sources and following WP:CORP then? Thank you. -- Alexf42 19:38, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

All the information I wrote, came from three reliable sources: Cerâmica de Valadares website (but I didn't make "copy/paste") - [1], the local newspaper, "Valadares & a Cidade em Foco" (but I didn't make "copy/paste" either) and popular knowledge, because, as a citizen of Valadares I know the history of my hometown. 06:20, 2 August 2008 (UTC)The author (NovosibirsK)

The issue that editors have with this article is that you have not provided any reliable sources to prove that this is a notable company. Things like newspaper/journal articles, newspaper web sites, books, things like that, but they must be independent of the subject so the companies web site does not count. If you have references you might want to read WP:CITE and/or WP:CITET to show you how to add references. The other thing you might want to read, as mentioned above is WP:CORP which is the notability guidelines for companies. The article as it stands right now does not meet the notability guidelines in WP:CORP. Putting this on your talk page as well. --Captain-tucker (talk) 07:02, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I actually provided four sources, two of them are from the company website, because is about facts related with history and international projects, and there is no subjectivity in that. The other sources I added are independent. The first one is from the fair Tektónica08, but unfortunately is in Portuguese (as my mother tongue I understand it, but most of people don't) and the second one is from Valadares town official website "junta de freguesia" in Portuguese, explaining about the coat of arms of Valadares (but it's also in Portuguese). I'll see if I can add more sources... NovosibirsK (talk) 07:10, 2 August 2008 (UTC)The author of the article (NovosibirsK)Reply
