That is true. But the existing redirect takes a user to the English name. I like names in English, so do the Wikipedia guidelines. There is no need for a change. --Bejnar (talk) 05:51, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
The proper English name of a university is not always literal translation of its Chinese meaning. If the University adopts its official romanization of its brand, the romanization should be taken as English. For example, Renmin University of China is not titled as People's University of China; Huazhong University of Science and Technology is not titled as Central China University of Science and Technology; Xidian University University is not titled as Xi'an Electric Technology University, etc... --Neo-Jay (talk) 06:01, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Why should "the romanization should be taken as English"? It isn't. For example Guangzhou is the romanization that most English speakers know as Canton. If you need to provide the "official romanization" do so in the article, not in the title. --Bejnar (talk) 06:12, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK, I am sorry that I mis-used romanization and English. But my point is clear: The proper English name of a university is not always literal translation of its Chinese meaning. I have provided three examples. Another example is Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, which is not titled as Middle-South University of Economics and Law. Will you move those articles to their English title? --Neo-Jay (talk) 06:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
