Site of Trevithick's railway circle
editRecent evidence points to it having been in Bloomsbury at a site now occupied by the Chadwick Building (opposite University Street, previously Carmarthen Street), part of University College London, Gower Street. See the discussion page of Richard Trevithick article on the topic of the railway circle site. 15 July 2007
Fake Picture
editThe August 2008 issue of The Railway Magazine (page 7) reports that the image used in this article is a fake made in the 20th Century. Should the image be removed from this article and replaced with something else or should it be left for illustrative purposes?

Engineering Timelines
editIt appears that the Engineering Timelines website has dissappeared. It's unclear if this is a temporary or a permanent loss. A great deal of this article is sourced from that website. I can't even tell if its a reliable source or not. I'll continue to check to see if the website comes back. If it doesn't we'll have to find different references for much of the article's contents. Rewrite
editThe artice is now so badly compromised by poor quality writing it needs a thorough edit for style and accuracy. More recent content appears to rely excessively on Francis Trevithick's notoriously unreliable biography. This is despite the extensive clean-up work done last autumn by Railfan23. I have changed the template accordingly. Globbet (talk) 20:58, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, I appreciate the complement. I agree there is more work to be done on the writing style, it might even be worth starting over from scratch and creating a new draft of the article. Railfan23 (talk) 21:53, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
Replica
editCan someone 'train orientated' update the section - according to the website 'further developments are imminent.' Jackiespeel (talk) 10:12, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
