Catalan flag → Catalan flag (disambiguation) – It is shameful that this article treats equally the senyera, the flag of Catalonia in any of its statuses, and the estalada, simply a flag for the independentist move. This page and "Flag of Catalonia", that redirects here, should redirect to Senyera and, if so, a template "For" must be added in it for linking to "estelada". Comment. It's not about a PoV. It's simply that the Senyera is actually the Flag of Catalonia and the Estelada not. Asturkian (talk) 23:48, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

Template:Country data Catalonia

As this may get more eyes here than on a Template talk page:

{{Country data Catalonia}} displays the Senyera but links to Flag of Catalonia, which is a redirect to this disambiguation page. Are we showing the correct flag, and what is the best wikilink? (That link could be changed by adding a flag link = parameter as in {{Country data Catalonia/sandbox}}.) As there's only room for one flag, I'd say it has to be the Senyera unless and until there are further political developments. For the link I'd also say Senyera, as that describes the flag being shown without making any POV assertion as to its status. Certes (talk) 09:59, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

As I said in the RM discussion before, the only official flag used always in Catalonia, in all of their statuses, is the Senyera. The Estelada only represents a political ideology. Asturkian (talk) 17:13, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
