Gregorian v. Persian calendar dates

Farkas János has replaced Gregorian dates (1978, 1979, etc.) with Persian calendar dates throughout the article. As this is an English langauge wikipedia page I think the vast majority of its readers are going to be more familiar with Gregorian dates (1978, 1979, etc.) --BoogaLouie (talk) 22:04, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've left many Persian dates in the article as these dates are often comemorated and used as names of roads, squares and such in the IRI. --BoogaLouie (talk) 22:17, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
