Redirect? edit

If this really is supposed to be the era of Charles II, we should redirect this to The Restoration, which is the much more common term for the same era. No need for two articles covering the same concept. --Jayron32 16:22, 5 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree; I only wrote it as a quick two minute stub because an Admin kept redirecting it back to Caroline era. I didn’t, however, redirect to Restoration because some people argue that Restoration also takes in James II and William and Mary. I think it’s one of those murky areas no one is ever 100% sure of. 11 December 2021 edit

Why is it the Carolean Era, not Caroline Era? Could someone add some information about how these names were decided? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Villafancd (talkcontribs) 15:48, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Third era edit

we are again in a Carolean era, the third. Kmelling (talk) 11:18, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

This may well be the case, but the official name for Charles III's reign has not been decided and we should avoid saying so in this article. (It also seems a little premature to call this an era at this point). –QueenofBithynia (talk) 17:14, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
