INSTRUCTOR FEEDBACK edit

This is a good start but the emphasis needs to be on the geology. Remember that this is a geology class. I suggest that you describe the tectonic setting of the basin and the origin of this before going on to talk about the stratigraphy. You might think about making a stratigraphic table or figure to explain the names, the depositional ages and the sedimentary types so that people who are unfamiliar with the area can understand this quickly. I would recommend you having a small subheading explaining the source, reservoir and seal, providing sufficient detail to derive something meaningful out of your explanation. Provide information about the quality of the source rock or the reservoir characteristics of the main units for example. I don't object to talk about the other aspects as well but you will mostly be judged on your presentation of the petroleum geology Pclift (talk) 17:33, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

(Stanton Dupuy):************************************* --Taylor, your writing is fluent and I followed along easily. However, you may want to break up your history, geologic setting, and substructure section into smaller sections for better navigation and digestion of the information. For the history section, the second to last sentence in the major structures section has a typo that I could not figure out, menial typos I fixed. Major strati-graphic subdivisions section gets words towards the end, i.e. sentence three; however, I was unable to find any major issues with your work besides more pictures and organization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sdupuy21017 (talkcontribs) 05:28, 16 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
