editI have just been watching the Blake's 7 episode "Weapon" on DVD this morning and I have to say that Candace is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, even in that ridiculous costume she had to wear. The fact that at the time she was only about 3 years younger than I am now certainly helps.
Doing some quick research on the internet, I found that webpage which discusses her "disappearance." Like the maker of that film, I certainly hope nothing sinister happened. According to IMDB, she simply stopped appearing on any television show circa 1982. Anyway, I added the quote about her "disappearance" to the IMDB page, so hopefully someone will turn up some information on her. A beautiful lady and, according to the quote, a nice person as well. 210.50.56.31 (talk) 23:51, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Update on my last post... I just found this discussion thread about Candace:
http://www.britmovie.co.uk/forums/actors-actresses/4420-candace-glendenning.html
- I won't add this to the main article since it is not verifiable information. Seems like she is alive, though, according to some of the posts. A number of people seem to be interested in her. I might have to track down some of her horror/nudie films as I have not seen these (though that is definitely NOT the sort of thing I would normally watch!); I only know her from one of the weaker episodes of Blake's 7.
- If you ever read this, Candace, say hello. :-) Hope you are well. You are the most gorgeous British actress of the 1970s. I am now a fan! 210.50.56.31 (talk) 00:03, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
