Corporate structure

So there is CBS Paramount Network Television and CBS Television Distribution. Is one really a division of the other, or are they sibling divisions of CBS Corporation ? Sources? —MJBurrage^(T•C) 00:19, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't know who added those Japanese-style programs to the list, but I think whoever did that must have really eaten some spoiled sushi.Hiphats (talk) 05:28, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Off-net vs. network

There are a number of network shows (especially those on UPN) under the "Off-net syndication" category. Off-net syndication refers to reruns of a show that previously aired on a network. A show produced by CBS, aired on UPN, whose reruns have not later been sold to individual broadcast stations, is not an off-net syndicated show. TV Distribution to Media Ventures

If the name has officially been changed from CBS Television Distribution to CBS Media Ventures, then why the insistence that we use the old name in the shows it distributes? If you want a source so badly, here it is.

We go by names (incl. companies) as they are credited on the shows. We don't retroactively change history based on subsequent events. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 13:59, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
