Error? Same as Building at 1707-1709 Cambridge Street? edit

The images used by each are of the same building taken from each side. Check out Google Streetview for yourself. Did these images come from some authoritative site? Could it be that the building was at some point reassigned a number and so actually are one in the same? Not sure how to handle this one... --— Rhododendrites talk |  23:12, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think you have been fooled by identical buildings. If you call up Google StreetView for 1709 Cambridge St., it shows the space between the two buildings, with 1715-17 on the left and 1707-1709 on the right. 1715-1717 is distinctly more yellow than its mate, which appears gray. If you look at our two images:
  • File:1707-1709 Cambridge St.jpg is a gray building, with an air conditioner in the second floor window under the 2nd dormer from the left -- that's the third window from the left of the six on the front of the second floor. The fourth window from the left is 1/4 raised.
  • File:1715-1717 Cambridge St.jpg is a yellow building, with no air conditioner in the corresponding window and the fourth window from the left is shut, with the blinds down.
The dormer windows also show differences in the position of shades and blinds. Since User:Twp took them one immediately after the other (same time stamp), these differences seem to me to be definitive.
The Google satellite view show the two quite distinctly.

Indeed. I must've been hasty when doing my own Google Streetviewing. Thanks for clarifying. --— Rhododendrites talk |  00:36, 28 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
