"He always has the park's best interest in mind" Well... I've seen many episodes of brickleberry, but as far I've noticed he doesn't give a sh*t about the park as long as money comes in. State is unknown edit
I've removed the unsourced claim that the series is set in Illinois.
1. The series never specifies the state where it's located, and sources such as the Brickleberry Wiki state this explicitly: "The show never reveals which state Brickleberry is in, but it is located in the fictional town of Hazelhurst." 2. Whoever added this unsourced information to Wikipedia seems to have done so based on the presumption that the town of Hazelhurst mentioned in Brickleberry must be the real town of Hazelhurst, Illinois, but there's no reason to assume the town in the series is a real town. Even if it were, there would be no reason to favor Hazelhurst, Illinois, over Hazelhurst, Wisconsin.
3. The characters play a routine softball league game against the rangers from Yellowstone National Park, so if clues from the series were taken literally to imply a real-world location, then Brickleberry would likely be in reasonably close proximity to Yellowstone because nothing in that episode implies either team had to travel a long distance, and doing so would be unrealistic for an amateur softball league. However, the general tone of the show (including obviously unreal characters like a talking bear) and the absence of real-world geographic clues imply Brickleberry National Park isn't meant to have a real-world setting, just as the creators' similar series Paradise PD has never established its state location.
4. The creators are from Georgia, and they met at the University of Georgia, so there's no authorial reason to presume they would choose to set Brickleberry in Illinois.
