Links edit

Fan Ye links to a Gymnast?--Skyfiler 19:17, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I'm disambiguating the links now. I do not find Fan Ye sufficiently important to create an article right now, but I may in the future. Of course, someone else is welcome to do it as well. --Nlu (talk) 07:13, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

So which is it? edit

Is it Book of the Later Han, or History of the Later Han? Bubbha (talk) 08:41, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Both are apt English translations; neither one is incorrect.--Pericles of AthensTalk 01:50, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
The title and the first mention should be the same. Bubbha (talk) 09:20, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Could we possibly come to some consensus as to what the best translation of the title is? Ryweber (talk) 05:07, 21 November 2017 (UTC)ryweberReply

Only a lead? edit

Has anybody else made note of the fact that all of the information for this article is essentially under the lead? Does anybody else think that page could benefit from a bulking up of the information about the text (historical context, type of information in book, background, and legacy) organized under more headings and sub-headings? I am thinking of doing this myself, but I am brand new here on Wikipedia and wanted to see if there was a reason that nobody else had made these changes before I went ahead and tried to. Sounds like a great idea to me. Please go ahead unless someone gives you a good reason not to. Good luck with it - I look forward to seeing it after you are done. Thanks. John Hill (talk) 06:42, 21 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

History of the Later Han edit

So the Dongguan Hanji (東觀漢記) is a separate work and not an alternate name for this, right? That should probably be mentioned and cited somewhere within the article. — LlywelynII 21:01, 16 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Are the years correct? edit

The Chinese article says that this book covers 195 years from 25 (Emperor Guangwu) to 220 (Han Emperor Zen) and the same thing repeated in French, Spanish and German articles. So I was wondering about the source of "6 to 189 CE" in this article. Any Idea?--H simab (talk) 22:03, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

If the Eastern Han Dynasty ended in 220, why does this historical work only go through the year 189? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 22:12, 20 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
