File:WWII Rama VI Bridge1.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

edit

An image used in this article, File:WWII Rama VI Bridge1.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: All Wikipedia files with unknown copyright status

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Merge

edit

Duh. A WWII photograph of the bridge should be long out of copyright, but Mr. Speedy Delete is perhaps as competent as the B-29's lead navigator. Anyway, this article has been partially merged into Memorial Bridge, Bangkok (which links here,) but should be fully merged into History of Bangkok#20th_century where it really belongs. When that is done, remember the bridge links here. For the nonce, I added to #20th_century "For further information," generated by {{See|Bombing of Bangkok in World War II}}, which should be removed even as the bridge is re-linked.—Pawyilee (talk) 09:05, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
