Surname spelling

Is it "Keys" or "Keyes"? This needs a definitive source, and then an appropriate redirect added. "Bobby Keyes" is credited on several wikipedia articles. Both spellings appear on www.imdb.com

I did some checking, his solo releases are spelt KEYS, though many other sources spell it Keyes. There is also a US guitarist Bobby Keyes. Design 08:11, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Most sources I've checked, including V. Bockris's early '90s bio of Keith Richards, spell it "Keys."

Drug Use

"Kenny Keys ~ No DNA needed !"

Sometime in the early 2002s to 2003s a heavy metal band was headlining at "The Fox" on the hill in Boulder { Colorado } a hot spot for the CU music scene.

Kenny Keys was the featured singer. I just had to meet this kid so after the show I made it a point to go see the obvious son of Bobby.

I was a little surprised at the situations it unraveled in the conversation as he obviously was not 100% sure that his dad was Bobby.

I invited him up to the apartment we had above the Sorority house at the time to show him a poster which had a picture of his dad close up.

He said he had planned a trip to meet him and maybe even have a DNA test. I took a second look at this kid, as if it was necessary because he was

so much the spitting image of his dad it was spooky.

I have noticed in a few places that his children in Tennessee were mentioned by name but no mention of Kenny. Oh well …none of my Beezwax..maybe he used a different name.

But if not…somewhere out there is a digital copy of the Sax man himself living west of the Mississippi.

Hope this revelation only has positive results. Families are usually private stuff however sometimes there comes a shy child who needs a little push.

Maybe this is the case…maybe not.

Return to Sender

Why does the article say that Keys "reportedly" played sax on Return to Sender (song) by Elvis Presley? There's no doubt that Boots Randolph is the saxophone player there. And it doesn't look like the source given for the statement (note 8) mentions Keys on it either. MackyBeth (talk) 13:53, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
