Don't delete yet: Illinois gubernatorial candidate

edit

His article should stay active. He's apparently a candidate for Illinois Governor. An indirect reference: http://cbs2chicago.com/local/prison.stateville.budget.2.1077666.html 71.166.54.12 (talk) 15:50, 9 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality

edit

I have tagged this article as being in violation of Wikipedia's neutrality point of view. The article repeatedly refers to the subject by his first name. It lists only accomplishments with no citations Coincidentally he is also a candidate exploring a bid for State Treasurer (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2013-06-13/news/ct-met-schillerstrom-treasurer-0613-20130613_1_schillerstrom-state-treasurer-governor-nomination)

To be honest this article should be tagged as deleted, but I do not have the Wikipedia seniority to do that and thus I am open to debate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mpen320 (talkcontribs) 06:41, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I know this comment was from 2013, but I just wanted to let you know that I PROD-ed this article because I initially agreed with you. The PROD was rejected, and I do think there might be enough sources to support keeping this article. Happy to discuss further. Edge3 (talk) 17:30, 5 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mpen320 I forgot to ping. Edge3 (talk) 17:37, 5 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Edge3, no worries. I think that there is enough independent content that an article is warranted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mpen320 (talkcontribs) 23:29, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
