There are many ancient Chinese novels written over 400 years, 1000 years or 1500 years ago. In these ancient Chinese dramas, that were written first, the Chinese authors write about swords, rings and martial arts which is real, and includes the Monkey King which is based on real Bhuddism. The flying powers of the Monkey King may be supernatural but that is evidence that the Lord if the Rings novel in the 20th or 21st century had imitated and copied the "flying aspect" and our Chinese fairies came first and so did the aspect of Chinese vampires etc. Also, the concept of fairies originated from China and from Bhuddism.
