Articles for Deletion debate
editThis article survived an Votes for Deletion debate. The discussion can be found here. -Splash 22:18, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
- Hmmmm, so it survived, but 99.5% of the content is subsequently deleted leaving this artcle without useful substance of any kind? The old article was without proper sources (listing only the camp's own site), contained an excess of information that may change from year to year and should be obtained by viewers utilizing a "see also" link to that site, and was a bit hyped - but stripping it of all content amounts to deletion - as there is nothing left. That was not the supposed result of the debate. This is a notable and significant facility within its musical genre, and there were pieces of useful information that should have been left, properly sourced, but left. When I can find time, I will attempt to flesh-out this stub, as should have been done rather than simply throwing out the baby with the bathwater.--Rwberndt (talk) 15:57, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- OK, I made the time. This is a basic article, and it needs more meat. It would be nice, given the generations of musicians from Europe and America who have utilized Blue Lake programs, if someone other than a euphonium player who was there 30 years ago would take a crack at this.--Rwberndt (talk) 18:57, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
math?
editIf 5,000 students go each year, and 1966 was 40 years ago, how have 250,000 students gone? Archtemplar 22:24, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
5000 is an estimate... you are not including the number of students who take the International Tour. The previous unsigned comment was added by 75.54.250.24
EDIT: 1250 students don't go on int'l a year, but I see someone put up the exact number of campers from last year. Thanks. Also, please sign your comments. Archtemplar 07:16, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
