Storyline Source - Primarily Manual - Link to it? edit

I've played this game using a DOS emulator and the storyline revealed within the game is minimal compared to what the "Storyline" section of this article contains. I was led to wonder where all this information came from. I couldn't find any articles elsewhere that had as much of the backstory as this one here on Wikipedia. So I figured that the information here must have come from the manual. Sure enough, I found a copy of the manual and was able to confirm the extended backstory.

I'm not sure if anybody is watching this page, but does anybody think the manual should be linked to as a source for the backstory? I realize other games don't have links to their manuals, but then other games have more of the plot revealed within the games themselves. The fact that the player cannot get this information except by looking at the manual seems to be a key distinciton.

For reference, the address of the web page from which I downloaded the manual is http://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/blackthorne/download/461/.

So, any thoughts? Include the link in the main article? Or am I all alone here? Xlbnushk (talk) 08:43, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
