Language and Sources edit

I understand that this is just the wikipedia entry of a high school, but from the language used on the article it is evident that this article was created by the school. Also, most of the claims have no sources. marqmike2 (talk) 00:00, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Alumni edit

I appreciate you guys having good fun, but your freinds don't exactly fall under "notable" for alumni. funny titles though. Gsham 18:13, 17 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Postgraduation Matriculations edit

Standard Style? Nothing that I have read suggests that a big block of comma separated names is "standard Style"... however, the Wikipedia Manual of Style recomends use of bulleted lists to improve legibility. I think that applies in this case. Gsham 16:19, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

yo fool. look at other high school examples. University Liggett School Detroit Country Day School John Cooper School etc. there is no other h.s. with your girly format.

yeah, and those articles dont have a list of a large number of schools. for 2 or 3 schools, a sentence would be fine, but as it is, a bulleted list is incredibly more legible. so hence it will stay as a bulleted list. Gsham 16:06, 3 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

point to one other high school article that has the format you speak of. and for you to decide how it will be hence is awfully presumptuous

The fact is, this is the only article with a long list of colleges. However, if you look to any article with a long list of alumni (Crossroads School (Santa_Monica) immediately jumps to mind), you'll see that they use a list. Its just a simple case of legibility, which you would know about if you read the Manual of Style link I put in my first comment. also, it is not I alone that believes the current format is correct. every editor of this page other than you has not found it necessary to modify it from an orderly list to a less-legible sentence. that being said, I appreciate you not turning this into an edit war. Does Amber Valletta count? edit

My understanding is that Amber attended Catholic school from elementary to her freshman year at Bishop Kelley. When she was 15, her mother got her signed for modeling, and she went to Europe to model for the summer. When she returned to Tulsa, she went to Booker T. Washington High School, where she graduated in 1992. (See:[1]) Since I'm not able to find non-graduating year school history for her, I can understand the removal from the list of students. —LeflymanTalk 00:13, 20 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Her IMDb page says she went to Washington, and that's why I removed her. If somebody can prove otherwise, I'll be happy to keep her on. Also, to me "alumni" means somebody who actually graduated from the school. If she attended for awhile and then left, she's not an alumna. RedRollerskate 16:42, 20 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
