I agree with the previous commenter that it's "gifts" -- that's how I learned it as a child. On Youtube, see renditions by Allan Bruce, John McCormack, and John McDermott. And finally, "fairy gifts fading away" obviously makes more sense than "fairy wings fading away." Why would wings fade away? So I'm going ahead and changing that word. The Name of the Tune
