Reliable sources tag edit

I've taken a quick look at the sources in this article, and while it would be helpful to have more sources in the English language, most sources are reliable. A number of sources are major Mexican breweries, and they are appropriate sources for an article on Beer in Mexico, though, as they are primary sources, they need to be used with care, and to balanced with independent secondary sources, such as respected newspapers like the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Sure the article could do with some higher quality sources, but so could every article on Wikipedia, including the featured ones. This one is better sourced than most, so the tag is not appropriate - there are other articles to which people's attention could be directed. SilkTork *YES! 00:00, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Light beer in Mexico edit

The claim that light beer is not popular in Mexico is flat out wrong. I saw Tecate Light and Michelob Ultra everywhere when I was in Mexico. 67.85.184.143 (talk) 07:43, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
