new page edit

This is in line with the pages on Cabinet Baden and Cabinet Scheidemann and is primarily intended as an overview page. I did not use some of the WP links to the ministries ("xxxx of Germany") as the relevant WP pages contain virtually no info on the Weimar Republic institutions and are generally focussed on the Federal Republic ministries.

This is very much a work in progress, with more references to come. I also hope to improve some of the cabinet members' WP pages in the process.Drow69 (talk) 15:13, 30 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

External links modified edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Bauer cabinet. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

30 August 2023 update edit

Cabinets of Weimar Germany (#2 of 20)

The purpose of the updates is to:

Standardize info boxes.

- Time in office includes caretaker period after formal resignation.

- Not all of the parties that weren't in the ruling coalition are listed as opposition – some 'tolerated' the government (esp. the SPD), or there isn't enough information on them to make a judgment if they were in active opposition or not. In that case I left them out.

Standardize tables of cabinet members ('Portfolio' is the office, not the office holder. I kept them simple, without repeating 'Ministry of…')

Expand introductory paragraphs to summarize the whole article.

Include at least minimal information on the cabinet's actions while in office.

Reduce or eliminate use of German words and phrases (notably 'Reich' = German/y).

Standardize capitalization of 'minister' (see MOS biography Positions, offices, and occupational titles section) and ministry names (see MOS Capital letters Institutions section). GHStPaulMN (talk) 14:15, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
