releases edit

This article and the Main Battlestar one as well don't mention it being released in theaters in the U.S., but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the ads for it in my local newspaper as a kid. Also, the imdb has a theatrical release date for it as being in May of 1979. Vaginsh 13:11, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'll confirm that. I saw the movie in Dublin, CA in '79 It was even in Surround Sound. It was pretty cool to my 14 year old self.

Close, mate - not 'Surround Sound' but 'Sensurround'... What Earthquake introduced in '74. We had it as well when the film played in cinemas in Sydney (I added the bit in the intro mentioning theatrical release in Australia) and I'd forgotten about it till now. Thanks for reminding me! Right you are, thanks for the clarification. --Liquidvelvet 16:12, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Intro Content edit

Is it just me, or is the sentence "The series title is sometimes formatted with a colon, as Battlestar: Galactica, however it is more commonly formatted without" at the end of the intro totally unnecessary? There is already a great deal of information about the series in the first paragraph, and this is the article about the movie. Also, is there a reason that no one added America to the list of places it was released? Just curious... CharacterZero | Speak 02:57, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed Merger edit

I've proposed a merger between this article and Saga of a Star World because they are virtually the same thing. Yes I know that there are vital differences between them but since neither is mentioned on the other's page, it would surely be easier to merge them and have a section listing the differences between each version (not to mention the third edit that is possibly worth mentioning) At the moment, since neither article acknowledges the other, it would be understandable for people to think that they are totally different things. --Thetriangleguy 23:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
