I have added a flag - this reads like a celebration of a Pakistani victory rather than a neutral overview. I have identified one sentence in particular, quoted here, but there are other examples.

"It was the dedicated and unflinching faith of these commanders in their cause that the most resilient and tenacious Al-Qaeda and Taliban elements were defeatead and annihilated from the restive Valley of Bajuar." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.86.193.59 (talk) 12:32, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Offensive or battle?

edit

The article was just renamed from Bajaur offensive to Battle of Bajaur after having been renamed in the opposite direction some three weeks ago. I disagree with the latest renaming. A campaign which now has lasted almost 8 weeks should not be called a battle. It's a campaign or an offensive or something else, but it's not a battle, I think. Also, I would like to advocate the use of the {{move}} template and its accompanying procedure. __meco (talk) 07:45, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

There are battles which have lasted for months. Some have lasted for minutes. The Battle of the Bulge actually lasted nearly six weeks. So this has only lasted a little longer than that.--The Devil's Advocate (talk) 07:32, 30 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
