Barge Port (Palatka, Florida)Putnam County Barge Port – less awkward and confusing name Donald Albury 19:50, 19 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

The current name of this article, Barge Port (Palatka, Florida), does not appear to conform to the policy in Wikipedia: Article titles. The name of the facility takes several forms in web sites, including:

"St Johns River Port"

"Putnam County Barge Port"

"Palatka Barge Port"

"Barge Port"

My personal preference is to rename the article to Putnam County Barge Port, but I think Palatka Barge Port is also acceptable.

There is actually little information on the web about this facility, and I also offer for consideration a proposal to merge this article into the Transportation section of the Palatka, Florida article. - Donald Albury 19:40, 19 September 2020 (UTC)Relisting. 2pou (talk) 16:48, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Merge Good research. Thank you. The merge looks like the best option to me given WP:N. I didnt want to suggest that originally as I really didnt have the local knowledge. Fob.schools (talk) 07:38, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Relist comment @Donald Albury: It is a little unclear given the linked discussion Fob.schools posted. Are you now pursuing a move instead of completing the merge given new sources uncovered? Or is merging something still under consideration? -2pou (talk) 16:48, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
