Information may be derived from reliable sources and added to a Wikipedia article, citing the source, but must be given in the editor's own words. A simple copy-and-paste of text from a source violates copyright law and will be removed as soon as detected. Sources for any article should as far as possible be independent of the subject. All content must be written from a neutral point of view, neither praising nor criticizing but simply giving the facts.
