- Not done: Please provide a reliable source for these box office totals. The website you gave calls itself "Fastest, Reliable, & Trustworthy Source of Information" which inherently makes me suspect whether the opposite is true. Also, the box office total 38.18 crore does not match the total given in your source. Additionally, we can't copy-and-paste text from other websites due to copyright restrictions, so please paraphrase the text addition you wish to make. Altamel (talk) 03:06, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

Hey, I have watched Bajrangi Bhaijan for almost 10th Time. I wanted to be a Part of his campaign Somehow that maybe by expanding this Article. I specially Created my Account on wikipedia for this. But this Movie was the unique One That Convinced Me To watch it again and Again and Later, Now to be a part of his campaign.
I Request You to Allow Me To Editing In the Story of Bajrangi Bhaijan. I shall Expand the Plot Completely. And Secondly, As the Movie Clarifies, ( I believe the Author of This is An Indian ) Pakistani And Indian Will Together Do a Job!

- @Smfaizan200: You have not made a request as per the template. You cannot just request "Allow Me To Editing In the Story..." You need to say what you want changed in a "Change XXX, From: YYY To: ZZZ format. I have also removed the link to your website. See wp: SPAM. Saying "I specially Created my Account on wikipedia for this." makes it sound like you are a single purpose account, who is not here to help build the encyclopaedia. I suggest you get some editing experience, before expanding the plot here, as your request is your first edit to Wikipedia (WP). 220 of Borg 08:56, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Box office India is the source for box office collections for most Hindi movies (PK, Chennai Express etc). Here's there latest article on Bajrangi Bhaijaan 495 crores (http://www.boxofficeindia.com/Details/art_detail/bajrangibhaijaanclosinginon500croreworldwide#.VbsHXROqr_h) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sbhowmik89 (talk • contribs) 05:36, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- Box Office India openly admits that its day-to-day reports can and usually are inflated here: http://www.boxofficeindia.com/Details/pages/faq#.VbvWKrNVjkh
- Additionally, day-to-day updates are not the purpose of Wikipedia, and place unnecessary pressure on administrators. To fulfill its role as an encyclopedia, it would be significantly more apt to wait until final box office numbers are officially reported. - Don't make accusations as to why. All we know is that people want results and they'll put blog or whatever even if those aren't reliable sources. That encourages this kind of massive fighting which is why we require more than just anything. - Ricky81682 (talk) 19:21, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
- Accusation? No sir.. It's common sense.. Who else would edit and put wrong information deliberately? It's very common sense that a movie earning at a phase of 9 Crores per day on week days in India and 2 Crores per day overseas.. Can't Earn 477 within 12 days... And Thanks for editing but u forgot to edit the box office section it still shows 477 or so.. Sorry For irritating u.. But being an Indian I know many Indian media pages depend on Wikipedia.. Now this fake Collection is everywhere and people getting fooled.. That's why I had to send requests again and again 19:42, 29 July 2015 (UTC)19:42, 29 July 2015 (UTC)19:42, 29 July 2015 (UTC)19:42, 29 July 2015 (UTC)19:42, 29 July 2015 (UTC)Santhoshlee1 (talk)
- I suggest you review our policies against personal attacks and for assuming good faith. You'll get further along if you simply argue that the source people are providing are not accurate and not in line with policy rather than starting fights over what you think people are going for. It's not about irritation, it's about being cold, calculated and disinterested in that kind of arguing. Don't go down to the level of arguing with these kinds of editors. There's an old saying: don't argue with idiots, they'll take you to their level and beat you with experience. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 04:05, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- Citation 55 does not actually use the number 477.09 anywhere within the article, and I believe he's worked up about that citation being used in the Box Office section of the article. KingSarf (talk) 16:19, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- Corrected that to reflect the source. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 23:45, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
Sorry Sir my fault I got irritated by repeated editing.. When Authentic Taran Adarsh Tweets.. He is in the business since years.. You can Google him..... And Authentic Indian media never said.. That it crossed 400 still they are editing.... 477 so... And here it today's report posted at 1:43 pm 30th July by Indian media and Taran Adarsh ... .. .. Kindly Update....
Domestic : 266.22crs Worldwide Gross : 394crs

- I think we can stick with the 400 estimate at the moment. I don't know it's necessary to go back and forth between 394 and 400. I see Taran Adrash but I'm not sure about using his direct tweets as a source. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 00:02, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
Sir, Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Yes Sticking with 400 is appropriate.. And i request you to keep "this" Article Protected Always till the movie cease to earn and the final collection is out.. Not accusing but am afraid as soon as article gets semi protected again same thing will happen.. Changing the page again and again based on Unauthentic Media Sources.. PLZ consider my Request.. Thank u so much :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Santhoshlee1 (talk • contribs) 06:01, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- That's a discussion for WP:RFPP, where I'll let some other administrator decide. If I'm involved in editing the page, I shouldn't be deciding whether or not it should be protected (knowing that I can beat any protection put on it). Box office
Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected around 80cr crore on the first two days. The movie become Salman's highest opener beating "Kick" record. Also it manages to break the 1st day record of Aamir Khan's "PK" box office collection.
box office collection of the movie is not 413 crore.

Box office India is the source for box office collections for most Hindi movies (PK, Chennai Express etc). It didn't show any details how it sums up to 490+ it's not official website of BOXOFFICE Collections.. India doesn't have one.. If 490+ is real why not any other Authentic Media is reporting that? Every Classic media reporting only 400..And only websites like Koimoi.. Dna India.. Dainik baskar are posting 470+ why so much disagreement between media ? Trusted media never said 470+ And Logically a movie which is earning 7 Crores per day in week days Domestically.... That movie Cant Gross 470+ Worldwide :) You should post Authentic Media Report Atleast from two three sources :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Santhoshlee1 (talk • contribs) 05:48, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

- Not done - the problem with Indian film figures is that they are all just estimates. The Koi Moi reference cited, states 626 Crore, this reference states 606.7 Crore and the one in the post above 603 Crore - we are not going to include every estimate so need a good reason to change from the one currently in use - Arjayay (talk) 12:03, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
