Comments/suggestions
editHere are some things I found while copyediting:
- Under "Main event", the first two paragraphs begin with "...featured preliminary match". Which is it...main event or preliminary match?
- Main event doesn't necessarily refer to the "big bout at the end of the show," it refers to the most hyped matches, which is why these preliminary matches are "featured" because they were most hyped than the other ones next to the main event.--SRX 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Real names should only be linked once, right? A couple of names were linked more than once (Scott Steiner, Steve Austin), so I deleted them. I'm assuming this also includes the lead, but I didn't delete the second mentions when the first was in the lead (Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, etc) just in case.
- That is correct, thanks so much for doing that, and you did the right thing not to delete the second instances after the lead.--SRX 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Another question: should terms like standard wrestling match, hell in a cell, championships, etc only be linked once per WP:OVERLINK? If names should only be linked once, it makes sense that terms should only be linked once, as well.
- That is true, but I don't see any terms that I linked twice, maybe I missed it.--SRX 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- "Ivory won the match via pinfall after performing a facebuster, a move in which an attacking wrestler forces his/her opponent down to the mat face-first." - even though you've explained the move here, I still think it should be linked.
- Linked.--SRX 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Body splash could also use a link
- Linked--SRX 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Mandible claw could use an explanation
- Submission holds should not be explained per grammatical errors that it produces when it is explained.--SRX 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Hope that helps. Nikki311 19:25, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

"is" vs. "was"
edit"Bad Blood (2003) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment..." or "Bad Blood (2003) is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment..."? It still is an event that took place in 2003. I'm not so clear on "The main event was a Hell in a Cell match." Not sure how that could be reworded, or if it should be reworded. I randomly checked another sports GA, Super Bowl XLI and it uses "was" as well, but I'm not sure that it's right. Probably good enough for GA, but this should be looked at for FA. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 02:08, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- It should be was because it wasn't the final Bad Blood, there was one in 1998/9 and then in 2004, so it was a Bad Blood event in 2003.--SRX 15:40, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
