City Already? No Way!

edit

According to the HB04730, it is included in OB, but not yet approved. How could it be? Please reply for the sake of originality. Also, please fix the article. It's confusing to read since the bill is not 'yet' approved. 04:00, 31 May 2011 (UTC) TruPepitoM — Preceding unsigned comment added by TruPepitoM (talkcontribs)

Notes

edit
Well written
  • Lead section needs expanding to be in compliance with WP:LEAD.
  • "During the Philippine Revolution against Spain in 1896, Bacoor is one of the first towns in Cavite to rise up." Should be changed to "During the Philippine Revolution against Spain in 1896, Bacoor is one of the first towns in Cavite to be founded."
  • The list in the subsection "Tourism" should be rewritten in prose format. Same for the list in the "Education" section.
Referencing
  • The last couple sentences of the subsection "Cityhood" are unreferenced.
  • "Zapote Bridge's special place in Philippine history is depicted today in Bacoor's city seal." is unreferenced.
  • The subsections "Physical" and "Climate" of the section "Geography" are unreferenced.
  • The subsection "Religion" of section "Demographics" is unreferenced.
  • "the city government is to be composed of a mayor (alkalde), a vice-mayor (bise alkalde) and members (kagawad) of the legislative branch Sangguniang Panlungsod alongside a secretary to the said legislature, all of which are elected to a three-year term and are eligible to run for three consecutive terms." is unreferenced.
  • The charts in the "Local government" section are unreferenced.
  • The first paragraph of the "Commerce" subsection is unreferenced.
  • The subsection "Land use" is unreferenced.
  • The subsection "Tourism" is unreferenced.
  • The subsection "Infrastructure" is unreferenced.
  • The section "Notable People" is unreferenced. Every entry needs a reference.
  • The section "Sister cities" is unreferenced.
Broadness
  • The section "Education" needs expanding to tell more about the schools, not just a list of them.
NPOV
  • No problems
Stability
  • No problems
Images
  • No problems

I have failed this GA, as it has been around seven days since I reviewed it. --AmaryllisGardener talk 15:26, 11 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Bacoor. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

This message was posted before February 2018. After February 2018, "External links modified" talk page sections are no longer generated or monitored by InternetArchiveBot. No special action is required regarding these talk page notices, other than regular verification using the archive tool instructions below. Editors have permission to delete these "External links modified" talk page sections if they want to de-clutter talk pages, but see the RfC before doing mass systematic removals. This message is updated dynamically through the template {{source check}} (last update: 5 June 2024).

  • If you have discovered URLs which were erroneously considered dead by the bot, you can report them with this tool.
  • If you found an error with any archives or the URLs themselves, you can fix them with this tool.

Love My Bacoor is a motto of Bacoor, but is from Mayor Lani Mercado

edit

I learned that "Love my Bacoor" is a current motto of Bacoor, but it depends on the term of incumbent mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla. Rdp060707 (talk) 13:24, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Lani Mercado-Revilla is her name, but the original is still known

edit

I learned that her name is Lani Mercado-Revilla. It is official. She renamed her name from Jesusa Victoria Garcia Hernandez to become Lani Mercado. She is already approved her new one. Rdp060707 (talk) 13:28, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
