upgraded and Wikified page edit

Added and populated infobox, added text from two DANFS sites, added photo from DANFS, minor edits, improvements, added cat, see also, etc. -- Someone from the ship or institute should provide a narratie on experiments and undersea work in the appropriate section of the page.Wikited (talk) 21:00, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Despite NVR and some other sources putting this and other R/Vs in "Conrad class" that is not accurate. The ships are entirely different in appearance, dimensions, propulsion and capabilities. A question is whether to even keep the erroneous category grouping. Is it helpful as a finding aid to be kept or misleading? If kept there needs to be clear distinction. Cycloid not hypoid edit

Hey as I was familiar with the Melville, I do know she had cycloid propulsion. I assume that's what the author meant by hypoid. I'll fix it; feel free to revert if you know any different.
