Hi. I've been making attempts to expand this article. Sorry if the history section is highly biased towards recent history; it's just there are so many more sources for recent Fed Cup matches than stuff from back in the 1970s. I suppose this is a common problem, but I am rather inexperienced and so I don't really know a solution as of yet other than using result articles, which is boring as it doesn't give specific details.

The current problems I have is the obvious lack of images: I have been unable to find a single picture of anything Australian Fed Cup-related other than the usual boring pictures of players that are used everywhere. If anyone has anything it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I can't find the top singles ranking for Karen Krantzcke. I know that she made the top ten, so she should appear in the respective section, but until I find something specific I'm reluctant to add her. If anyone has any knowledge this, then please add it in.

Also, if anyone has any information for the AUS Fed Cup captain in 1972, and 1981-1983, that would be great. I have all the information for the other years but I'm reluctant to place it in with those missing details.

Infobox template edit

I'm changing the currently utilized infobox template from infobox tennis cup team to FedCupinfobox. The main reason is that the latter is more widely used, and it makes sense to standardize the articles across the project. Additionally, I feel like the information captured in the latter template makes up for what will be lost. Namely, "biggest win", "biggest loss", and "first tie" will be lost. As far as the first two go, they seem more suited for a sport that has more variable scores. I assume virtually all teams have suffered a 5–0, 3–0, 0–3, or 0–5 loss, so that really isn't information worthy of inclusion in the infobox. "First tie" is sort of interesting, but not as important as the information in the other template. —Hermionedidallthework (talk) 01:33, 3 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
