ABC edit

http://www.abc.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?runprog=nav/abc&type=page&p=&menuid=abcnews%7Cpjfaqs is an information page for journalists, and the ABC encourages journalists to use this information (and its press releases - http://www.abc.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?runprog=nav/abc&type=page&p=abc_news.htm&menuid=abcnews%7Ccurrentpr) as and when needed, verbatim or otherwise.

Under British law, this would be Fairdealing, and I believe this would be a suitable start for this ABC page.

Directly using someone else’s words without attribution is still a really bad idea. See WP:COPYPASTE and WP:PLAG. Not to mention the fact that anything written by the subject about itself is likely to be self-promotional and biased (see WP:NPOV and WP:COI). —67.14.236.50 (talk) 04:09, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
