The car is called Audi RS2. Not Audi RS 2.

I'm still a bit new to this, and just went and deleted part of the article without explaining myself on the edit!

The paragraph on the history of the RS brand seemed to be both of questionable relevance (readers wishing to know about it can follow the link, surely?), and contained significant inaccuracy: Audi has not limited itself to one RS at a time for several years now. 86.158.185.179 (talk) 11:18, 25 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Front and rear final drive units contained a conventional 'open' differential, and have a ratio of 4.111, although the rear (parts code prefix: 01H, identification code: AZE) also has an electro-mechanical diff lock."

That is a flat contradiction. If it has an electro-mechanical differential locking device (not 'diff lock', this is an encyclopedia) then it is not a conventional open differential. So one half of that statement must be wrong. I also don't think the engine parts codes, exact ratios of all the drive gears, and brake disc dimensions in width and thickness are really within the scope of Wikipedia. That is information that is only relevant to mechanics and obsessive fanatics. What would be more relevant is information on why Audi wanted to build this car in the first place. Did it expect to make a profit off a limited run of less than 3,000 modified Audi 80s? Was it intended to be for homologation for motorsports? Was it just brand marketing, to create public hype? I would rather know that than the final drive ratio down to the fifth decimal place.
