Two games with the same name? edit

There seem to be two games by Jeff Minter called "Attack of the Mutant Camels". One is the horizontally scrolling game described in this article. The other is a sequel to Gridrunner. You can view screenshots for the games at http://www.lemon64.com. Mirror Vax 30 June 2005 04:24 (UTC)

Blame the publisher... edit

For some reason HES titled its release of Matrix (the Gridrunner game) "Attack of the Mutant Camels"... they apparently liked the name better. There's a reference to this on the page for it at http://www.digitpress.com as well as discussion of it at the Llamasoft message boards, http://www.yakyak.org. Pinball22 5 July 2005 16:10 (UTC)

Impossible to win?! edit

The entry currently says "Since the camels continuously move towards your base, and new camels are added every time one is destroyed, the game will eventually end in defeat". I seem to remember there were a set number of camels in each wave, so it was technically possible to destroy them and get to the next level, and they just got better/faster at firing at you as the levels progressed. Surely Minter (of all people) wouldn't have designed a game that was impossible to win? --Thoughtcat 16:23, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
