She is the only British flagged merchant ship to be sunk by missile edit

Not sure this is completely true, IIRC several transports during the Italian landings in 1943 were sunk by wire-guided missiles launched by Dornier bombers. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 20:30, 23 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Actually radio-controlled rather than wire-guided, many of the transports sunk were Liberty ships so probably US flagged though some of the others may have been British flagged. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 08:47, 8 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
