A refreshing change to the hip-hop scene has been brought upon by a group named at peace. Although promoting values and states of mind that encourage yourself to be at peace with ones-self, they have a funky and addictive sound that will be sure to be heard for many years to come. As usual it seems that their only downfall is a lack of funding from not giving in to the higher side of commercialism, and mainly just because they realize how messed up the world really is like the rest of us. 166.179.66.15 (talk) 12:38, 1 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I suggest the introductory section, currently a negative hatchet job, be changed to the following objective description:

At Peace, stylized @Peace, is an alternative hip-hop group from New Zealand. The group is known for its innovative and experimental style and thought-provoking lyrics which explore themes uncommon in the genre, such as philosophy and astronomy. The group comprises lyricist and vocalist Tom Scott, also of the hip-hop group Home Brew; lyricist and vocalist Lui Tuiasau, formerly of hip-hop duo Nothing To Nobody; and producers Christoph El Truento, Dandruff Dicky and B Haru.

Not done, for the reasons outlined when you brought it up on my talk page. Haminoon (talk) 05:20, 4 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Is there really any notability here? edit

The only coverage appears to be of their election-oriented song, and we generally don't consider election-hype to sufficient. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:16, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

They have had two studio albums appear on the NZ albums chart, so technically they meet WP:NBAND. Clearly it would be great to expand the article, and I'm unsure of the extent to which At Peace is "has received significant coverage in reliable sources". I'm thinking maybe put it up for WP:AfD with an option of merge to Home Brew (band). Stuartyeates (talk) 09:46, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Peace are a completely different group to Home Brew, with only one common member. They have released three albums, two of which charted as Adabow points out, and there has been plenty of media coverage before the election song, so yes, they are notable. I would love to expand the article but it's been locked due to vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.184.61.35 (talk) 10:32, 15 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Recently announced their breakup so years active would be 2011-2015. 121.218.57.196 (talk) 00:15, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

In short what should be changed: ‘Years active’ and ‘Discography’. (see motivation below)

In the article it notes that @Peace is inactive since 2015. However, they released another album in 2018 as one could see on there spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/5VlNOPjHwyaMgXDIZ8MhdC?si=LnvZiMhQRdiDfOBHJFcgFQ

Now, I’m not fully sure wether this album was with the same group composition. I just know it was published under the same name and haven’t done any further research in it.

Despite all of that, I think the article should be changed and since I normally don’t edit articles I think someone else should do it. Therefore this request.

I currently don’t have the time to research these artist but I hope you. Maybe more additional information about the music group can be added because ‘Home’ absolutely slaps. :D JelmerDL (talk) 17:17, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Please remember that edit requests should be made for already-researched and specific suggestions. Also note these important policies and guidelines: WP:OR, WP:V, and the above-linked WP:RS.
