Majid meets Criterion 1 of the guidelines for academic notability, since she has a Google Scholar h-index of 40 at the time of writing, which is very high for a linguist. She also meets Criterion 3 as an elected member of the Academia Europaea among other societies, and Criterion 6 as former chair of the Cognitive Science Society.
