- I moved the above to the talk page. Actually, the article is accurate. It is not unusual that the second elder of the church, and a man who translated some of the Book of Mormon along with Smith be directed to initiate the organization of the church and begin to write articles of the church. Revelation often begins from external influences and questions that arise from inspired sources. Think of the revelation allowing all to hold the priesthood, the word of wisdom, section 76. All of these were given after speculation, meditation, contemplation and prayer and initiation of others (the assistants of the quorum on brazil, emma on cleaning up and sidney's interpolation of other writings). -Visorstuff 17:32, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
