I changed the tanslation.
editThis was pretty wrong. ארס in hebrew means Venom.
- 'Eres' means venom in literary Hebrew. There is no connection between the two words, not even the slightest. Eifo laazazel lamadet Ivrit?

- Well, I added that today... I guess I mean the larger context in which Moroccans have such a derogatory term associated with them, and why it's so persistent. The yekke stereotype, for instance, is pretty bad, but has almost fallen out of usage.LamaLoLeshLa (talk) 03:50, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Actually I can't say that Moroccans are associated with Arsim (in the way that Germans = Yekim), it's rather than Arsim are associated with Moroccans and other North Africans. - You probably shouldn't use the speedy tag, the article obviously doesn't qualify for speedy. About your actual concern, I agree that it's a very bad article in its current state, but the phenomenon is notable. - In Israel being a jew is the default, so your country of origin is an ethnicity. Just like say the different ethnic groups in china would all be 'Chinese' or even 'Asian' in the West but have significance in their own country.--Nngnna (talk) 15:31, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
