I agree with the posting. "Arpitania" is much better. "Arpitany" sounds strange, more like an English adjective than a noun. Change it.

The map shown in this article is insultingly inaccurate. According to it, Arpitania is located in a region near Naples, in the map zoom. In fact it is located around the Mt. Blanc region, comprising the borders of three countries.

If a political movement which is notable by Wikipedia standards says that it does exist, then that's enough to get it covered in Wikipedia, whatever the scientific linguistic facts are. Italy (Aosta Valley, Arpitan-speaking valleys in the Piemont, Daunia/Arpitan Celle di San Vito, Foggia in Apulia).
