Combat: At Prekaz SAJ Unit was used that I believe belongs to Serbian police, not army.

I was just wondering what will happen to the Military of Serbia and Montenegro after Montenegro secedes? Serbia will then be a completely Land-locked nation, so presumably it wont have a Navy any more, right? --Hibernian 04:13, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Normally both countries would retain their military bases exactly where there are, i.e. all Army establishments located in Belgrade go to the Serbians, all airfields located in Podgorica go to the Montenegrins, etc. Given that the wide majority of naval bases are near the coast I would say that Montenegro will be their only owner; it would be unnecessary a Navy for Serbia if it has no sea, don't you think? =) --Nkcs 03:27, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Montenegro will keep the army of about 1000 soldiers(Army without armoured forces,one infantry brigade,and one artillery batalion),Navy and Air Force without fighters.

Amd Serbian army will undergo professionalization

I get notable Gbook hits only for "Army of Serbia and Montenegro" (9), "Serbian and Montenegrin Armed Forces" (9), "Armed Forces of Serbia and Montenegro" (10), "Serbian and Montenegrin Army" (9).
