Remove (Tamil: அர்ஜூன் குமாரசுவாமி) from arjun singers Wikipedia page edit

Arjun Coomaraswamy is only half Tamil and adding (Tamil: அர்ஜூன் குமாரசுவாமி) in the page might suggest it's his full background (which is not) Can we please removed that

Arjun became known for his fusion of contemporary Western and Eastern sounds, combining R&B with elements of South Asian music.  After creating a buzz in 2010, Arjun was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer‘ at the ‘Brit Asia Music Awards 2011’. [1] In December 2011, Arjun’s R&B Remix of the cult hit ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ ("How could you do this to me?") became a viral sensation and was featured on TV channels around the world, including CNN, NDTV and Star News. The video now stands at over 13 million views. [2]

In January 2012, Arjun was chosen as one of MTV’s Top 20 Unsigned Acts for 2012, out of thousands of contestants. [3] A few months later, two of Arjun’s singles made it into the first ever ‘Asian Beats Chart’ on mainstream UK television, selected by a panel of Asian media figures and TV officials. His song ‘Stargazer’ was voted the number 2 song by an Asian artist in 2011 (No.1 was A.R Rahman’s group ‘Super Heavy’, which included Mick Jagger & Joss Stone.) In August 2012, Arjun was selected to sing the official theme song for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2012 alongside Bathiya and Santhush. [4] He also produced music for the Sri Lankan Premier League, performing at the opening ceremony of the tournament held at Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo in August 2012. [5] In October 2012, Arjun won ‘Best Urban Act’ (in association with the MOBOs) at the UK Asian Music Awards 2012. He received the award from MOBOs founder Kanya King and Choice FM’s DJ Kojo. He also performed as a headline act at the Award Ceremony, held at Wembley Arena. [6]

In early 2013 Arjun played the role of Luke Lewis in online drama ‘Steffi’. [7] He did a live acoustic session on BBC Radio 1 and was later profiled by DJ’s Fearne Cotton and Nihal on Fearne’s Radio 1 show. [8] Arjun was voted Eastern Eye Magazine's 'Male Artist of the Year' in 2013. Later that year he was chosen by music composer Anirudh Ravichander to sing ‘Oh Penne (International Version) for the film Vannakam Chennai, and subsequently sang and composed other songs for South Indian movies. In July 2014 he performed at Rock Assembly in Wembley Arena, alongside the likes of Conor Maynard, Professor Green and Rita Ora. [10]. In September 2014 he performed at Diwali in Time Square, New York, to a crowd of over 200,000. [11]

In early 2014 Arjun signed a record deal with T-Series, India’s biggest music label. [12] ‘I’ll Be Waiting’, his first single with T-Series album charted at #1 on the iTunes India Chart. Arjun again won Eastern Eye Artist of the Year in 2014.

In June 2015 Arjun supported Arijit Singh in Dubai, and in August performed at Vestival in Amsterdam alongside Chris Brown, Tyga and French Montana. [13] [14]
