Apparently ants do not sting... edit

Ants spray venom, they very rarely sting. At least so is the info recently revealed to me just now. So we might relabel this article to Ant venom. The relabeled article could mention the rare cases of stinging, but without WP:UNDUE emphasis. Comments welcome since I am just reporting on what I read, vs know first hand. Source: "Ant venoms" by Donald R. Hoffman in Current Opinion in Allergy and Clinical Immunology 2010, 10:342–346. A minor complication is that ant venoms (not the singular!) redirects to ants, so we might need some help.--Smokefoot (talk) 17:34, 25 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Youtuber edit

I googled the Youtube Antvenom and this came up. Should there be a hat note? 80.42.19.42 (talk) 02:11, 20 November 2016 (UTC) https://www.youtube.com/user/AntVenom https://www.AntVenom.com https://twitter.com/AntVenomReply

Venomous Ant Bites edit

The article mentions venomous ant stings, and contrasts them with venomous ant bites. As far as I am aware, no ants have venomous bites, and the claim is unsourced. 100.6.169.200 (talk) 08:03, 7 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
