NASA seems to be calling it the "androgynous peripheral assembly system" nowadays (though boeing still uses "attach"). change the article name?

New docking systems are in design, the IDSS from NASA will be used on the ISS for a truly international standard docking system and will replace the PMAs currently used for shuttle docking. Should the IDSS passive and active rings be added here as a type of APAS? I always understood the point of this docking system was due to the fact that most systems had a clear male and female end (which are acceptable terms in electrics and other fields). In order for this mission to go further, a new docking system needed to be designed as neither the USA or USSR would accept being the female receiving side while the other docked in their port. I can't find reference though, does anyone have anything? Ticketjockey (talk) 15:12, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
