http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Confederados About the entry on Cherokee Brazilians and their involvement in the development of Brazil in its politics, economy, society and culture. They are among the Anglo-American immigration to Brazil, as well the Cherokee in the late 18th to early 20th centuries appeared in (esp. northern states of) Mexico, some went to Central America and Cuba under Spanish rule, and tens of thousands into South America (i.e. Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and Argentina among them). The Cherokee people in Latin America should not be forgotten, including one band of Cherokee went south of the Rio Grande to founded the Cherokee Nation of Mexico in the 1840s. 71.102.1.101 (talk) 23:27, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
