Undue weight edit

I added the template {{undue}} to this article on the basis of the fact that this article only contains those critical anti-China POVs while deliberately ignoring those pro-China POVs, which is nothing but a violation of WP:UNDUE that states Neutrality requires that each article or other page in the mainspace fairly represent all significant viewpoints. --117.136.106.139 (talk) 10:26, 22 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

It seems to me that the majority's view of the film is quite well represented in the article. Seeing as (legal) Mainland news sources are CCP controlled, it would seem odd to me to report them with the same weight as slightly less biased sources (HK and non-China newspapers, for instance). It is quite obvious, I think, that the Party, having produced this film to show how amazing China supposedly is, wouldn't let the media it controls criticise it. I do, therefore, think that all _significant_ viewpoints are represented. If you still disagree, please let us know what we are missing out on.On a sidenote, the POVs you discuss are, I think, not pro-China and anti-China, but either pro-CCP and anti-CCP or, even more correctly, pro-"Amazing China" and anti-"Amazing China". RfC on 'undue weight' tag edit

Is undue weight given to negative views/opinions of the film? Doanri (talk) 15:13, 9 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment - Summoned by bot. Depends on the weight of the coverage and sources. Meatsgains(talk) 00:52, 15 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
