Notability

edit

Currenty Amanda Brooks' notability rests mainly on her role in D-War. This was a multi-million dollar production and she was the leading actress in it. She's also had starring roles in smaller movies and smaller roles in bigger movies, follow the imdb link for details. She has pages on IGN.com, flixster and a fansite. She also has a page on the NY Times website, though this is taken from All Movie Guide.--RDBury (talk) 14:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Use of Weasel Words

"is an actress best known for her starring role " - best known by whom. Would be better to simply state "is an actress who starred in". Pknkly (talk) 07:12, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rephrased the sentence.--RDBury (talk) 10:25, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why would you put the statement about her brother's crime in her record? What the hell does that have to do with her or her accomplishments. Is she known by his actions? No, she is known for her accomplishments. This is yet another example of why Wikipedia is a sham. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.22.255.178 (talk) 03:03, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
