The text was directly incorporated from Grove's book on music and musicians, which is now in Public Domain. I don't any need for mentioning other sources.

Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... the Gorve's book is copyrighted under Public Domain Mark 1.0.
