Article name

edit

I don't know why this article shouldn't at Atom Smasher. Looking at the history it seems like it was moved back and forth a bit. Thoughts? WesleyDodds 06:50, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Because he was Nuklon as well. And this article in not about Atom Smasher, but Al Rothstein. —Lesfer (t/c/@) 14:29, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
It's about Al Rothstein all right, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it should be named that. Atom Smasher is the character's current name, and in comics heroic identities are better known than secret identities. WesleyDodds 22:41, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
It might help if the character's pre-JSA #1 history was fleshed out a bit more. That fairly size able chunk seems to be all but missing.
As for the naming... — J Greb 03:03, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I moved it from Atom Smasher to Al Rothstein. Brian Boru is awesome 14:32, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect information...

edit

The article begins "The godfather of Al Capone, the Golden Age Atom, Albert Rothstein..." this is incorrect. It should read "The GRANDSON of AL PRATT, the Golden Age Atom..."

Perhaps there was some confusion with Arnold Rothstein, the New York mobster? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.148.16.114 (talk) 16:07, 8 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Albert RothsteinAtom Smasher (DC Comics) – I find that "Albert Rothstein" as an article title fails the WP:CRITERIA of recognizability, and it seems more appropriate to use the moniker Atom Smasher (and to disambiguate from the Marvel Comics incarnations). For example, using Comic Book Resources as a rule of thumb, there are 196 Google search results for Albert Rothstein under that domain, and 39,900 results for Atom Smasher. (While some could be Marvel, a cursory review shows that it is the DC Comics character being referenced.) Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:55, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
