I think you'll agree we need more than that to declare him dead. I'm sure we'll get it at some point. Dougweller (talk) 20:28, 27 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Still nothing, and his website doesn't say he's dead - but it hasn't been updated for a long time so it may be abandoned. Dougweller (talk) 20:23, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
But he was a regular poster on his Facebook page, and stopped posting on November 11th. We can't use that of course. Dougweller (talk) 20:31, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
He suffered an unspecified fatal accident in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Nov 13 2011, where he lived with his Nepalese wife and her greater family. He planned to return permanently to UK soon. This information I received via personal facebook communication with his mother. How can we transfer this information to the article? Is a reference to an obituary in a newspaper required? Maybe someone from Southampton or Birmingham where he had an estate can check newspaper archives in the local library? Isenberg (talk) 17:05, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Those are excellent ideas. An obituary would work - we'd need all the details possible about the newspaper so that others could easily find it if they checked the archives. It doesn't have to be online. I know he's dead, but we still need a source. Dougweller (talk) 17:42, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've seen mention of an obit in the Fortean Times - around February-April issue last year (it said 'this month's issue' and was written in March, but I don't know what issue that actually was as publication dates can be odd). Dougweller (talk) 17:50, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
